Met mijn school kom ik in actie voor een school in Oeganda. Onderwijs kan het begin zijn van betere leefomstandigheden. Als je kunt lezen, schrijven en rekenen, kun je later makkelijker aan het werk en ben je minder afhankelijk van anderen. In Mukono Oeganda krijgen 150 leerlingen momenteel les in een kerkgebouw en in een klein optrekje dat bestaat uit houten palen en golfplaten. Om door de overheid erkent te worden als school heb je in Oeganda een eigen schoolgebouw nodig. Daarom is de school in Mukono, met hulp van de kerk, begonnen met de bouw van een schoolgebouw. Helaas ligt de bouw momenteel stil vanwege gebrek aan financiële middelen. Met de opbrengst van onze school hopen we onder andere deze bouw weer op gang te helpen. With my school I am taking action for a school in Uganda.
Education can be the start of better living conditions. If you can read, write and
calculate, it will be easier for you to work later and you will be less dependent on
others. In Mukono Uganda, 150 students are currently receiving lessons in a church building and in a small building consisting of
wooden poles and corrugated iron.
In order to be recognized as a school by the government, you need your own school building in Uganda.
That is why the school in Mukono, with the help of the church, started building a school building.
Unfortunately, construction is currently at a standstill due to a lack of financial resources.
With the proceeds from our school we hope to help this construction get started again.
